Branch or Givens

Givens is going to be the best option in New England. He did pretty well once he got the starts at the end of the season. He's the one guy that Brady can actually see from the neck up when he looks across the line at his options.

He should be the starter opposite Branch. And it's his 3rd year.

I'm going to go w/ Givens. He is the tallest receiving target on NE and is a threat in the redzone. While Branch may get a few more receiving yrds, Givens will have have an eye for the redzone.

I like Branch this year. He has the speed and ability to be the playmaker for NE. Saying that, I don't think there will be much difference in stats between Branch and Givens, but Branch will still come out as the #1 WR, IMO.

Yep. And if anyone on the Pats passing is going to have fantasy revelance, I'm inclined to believe the guy already declared #1 WR will.

For what it's worth, Givens is something of a mini-David Boston (insert jokes here). He's got the best size of any NE wideout and is pretty built for a WR.

I still like Branch but I think, given the chance, Givens will surprise a lot of people this year. The last half of the season last year was only the tip of the iceburg for him.

As a receiver, I like David Givens better to be honest. He is a strong, physical guy that uses his body size to help him beat up on cornberbacks and get open. He can make the difficult catches.

Deion Branch, however, is the better fantasy option. He uses his speed to get open, and Brady is VERY comfortable with him. SO much so that he even went on to say that on key plays he looks for Deion (even over Troy Brown). Yes, I know, that shocked me as well.
Go Pats!
