I think the Sonics would be willing to deal Ray Allen for Vince Carter (assuming his contract isn't gi-normous).
It doesn't sound like Allen is wanting to resign in Seattle when is contract is up at the end of next season and there have been rumors of him being traded to Portland (although aside from Zach Randolph or Shareef Abdul-Rahim, there really isn't anyone Seattle would want from them). I would rather have Randolph or Shareef, but Vince Carter would be better than nothing, I 'spose.

I would send Carter to Seattle for Allen in a second. Carter's contract is pretty big but so is Ray's so thats not a real sticking point.
On another note, I doubt that Portland would deal a stud like Randolph unless they got an unbelievable offer, and I doubt SAR will still be in Blazers colours by the start of the season. He might be going to the Nets, since the Nets will lose K-Mart in FA this is a good move. Plus K-Mart, like Jefferson, is just a product of Jason Kidd and SAR will be an upgrade.

Dont get me started on Carter... Hes the biggest baby ive ever seen... Me and my bros and my old man can always predict when hes gonna have a bad game (which is almost always) becasue if his mom is not there hes heartbroken and plays liek shit... Ive been screaming to deal Vince for at least 3 years theres no player I hate more in the NBA even as a raptors fan. Ray Allen would be sweet to bring in, the raps need some long range shooting anyways. plus his other name is "Jesus Shuttlesworth" how can you not like the man.
