Bobby Shaw

With Moulds recovered from his bad hamstring, Lee Evans in town and Bledsoe throwing like a little girl is Bobby Shaw worth wasting a draft pick on?

Does anyone see him coming anywhere near last years numbers?

Yeah, Moulds and Evans are going to be the goto WR's in Buffalo. I think Moulds is set for a nice comeback year. I wouldn't waste a pick on Shaw, but I'd keep an eye on him during the preseason to see if for some unforseen reason Evans can't lockdown the starting job.
If you're really liking Shaw, I think in most leagues you'll be able to grab him as a free agent.

Oh, and with all due respect Mookie, Wrong Forum. :-b

There are so many other WRs I would rather have than Bobby Shaw - including Marc Boerigter.

I'm not expecting much out of him. With Eric Moulds, Lee Evans, and probably Josh Reed ahead of him on the depth chart - I just can't see being very productive next season. Even if he manages to climb the depth charts, you could probably land him on the waiver wire with relative ease.

Shaw should be the #4 WR on Buffalo this year. Moulds will be #1 w/ Evans across from him and Reed should be in the slot where he is comfortable. Shawn has some speed, but wont see much action

Bobby Shaw was the most consistent WR on the Bills last year. How did he suddenly go to 4th in everyone's minds behind a rookie and a guy he was better than last year.

Moulds obviously will be the #1 if he is healthy.

Shaw did play better than Reed last year, but Reed is not a #2 type of guy, he is a slot receiver and fits that mold very well and is very comfortable there, and Shaw is more of a deep guy rather than a slot guy.

That leaves Shaw and Evans for the #2. To me, spending the #13 pick in the draft on a WR means he is going to get the chance to start. They wouldnt have used that pick on Evans if they were already comfortable w/ who they had.
