I have a great debate going on which one I should buy this year. I know Madden is king, but I heard stuff about ESPN is nipping at their heels. So, which one should I buy and I'm only gonna buy one!

I prefer Madden, although ESPN is good. It's only going to be $20 American, but I like Madden better so I'm gonna get it instead.

For gameplay ESPN is king. For Franchise madden owns. I call it a wash.

Yep.

I've tried ESPN games (not only football, but basketball) before and they just don't quite measure up.

You are correct. Madden has a way better franchise mode than Espn, but if your looking for gameplay and graphics, Espn is your game. I hear that Madden is going to be very cheap and on xbox live so they can beat out Espn so we will see ;-D
