anyone how remember yahoo's rankings last year and how they racked up to the end of the years stats? that could possibly show a comparison. if not, then how bout someone keep a record of them this year just to see if they are as really off base as most of us think.
For me, Ricky Williams could possibly land there, with his o-line not getting any better or worse there is some drop in numbers there. Another year another ton of carries and possibly some wear and tear. Another big receiver there may reduce some of his touched all together and they *may* have a passing game. All these are if's that one could possibly take into account. For him to be this low might be highly unlickly in your eyes...but not impossible.
the same goes with portis. im not saying the skins oline or run game is bad, but everyone knows how good Denvers is. Plus the new system etc etc and he could fall to 9th. Its all opinion because no one can predict the future. I say as long as they aren't putting Duce Staley in the first round or something just as odd ball, then these are another set of rankings that you can take into account when drafting yourself.
Don't just take these and disregard them just because they don't match yours. Take a minute and possibly question why they are they way they are. If after much consideration you still can't possibly see any reason as to such, then by all means throw them away. But every projection is based on many factors, one of which is opinion.
