News: The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the team might be interested in trading Michael Bennett if Onterrio Smith continues to improve

Earlier in the off-season I heard that Dennis Green wanted to bring him to Arizona.

...but I seriously doubt he'll be traded this season.

Meaning RBBC this year, and maybe Bennett up for trade next year. Vikes turned down three trade offers for Bennett in the off season, and Tice has been very impressed by Bennett in camp. Should easily hold down the #1 RB spot, but lose some significant carries to Onterrio and Moe.

Exactly... NO to the raids....NO to the cards... NO to ??? Nothing but good reports on Bennett during the camp(s) He will be number one this year.

Not happening, the offense is amazing with speed at qb,rb, and wr lose him and lose some speed at rb, but speed don't always win look at the redskins.

I dont see the Vkings losing much at the RB position if Bennett is traded. I think Onterrio can run the show, especially since all the defenses will be focusing on Moss and C-pep.

But why have someone "suitable" or "startable" when you can have someone as explosive as Moss and CPepp? Bennett can run the distance of the field whenever he touches the ball. No reason to concede Bennett to another team because you have a backup that is okay. I'm going to have to veto this one.
