Depends if you're talking Gonzo, or everyone else. Gonzo maybe late third, everyone else 5th or later.

The Canacuna takes the "Gonzo or Bust" approach. I'm more than willing to take Tony Gonzalez in the third round if certain WRs and RBs aren't available. Otherwise, unless one of the remaining members of the "Big Four" (Todd Heap, Jeremy Shockey, Kellen Winslow Jr.) falls into the seventh or eighth round, I'm waiting until the one of the final rounds to draft my TE.

I'd go late 3rd with Gonzo, but 5th or later for everyone else.

I would take Gonzo mid-3rd at the earliest.

In a recent draft, I needed a second RB so I passed on him with the 6th pick in the 3rd round. He was gone with the 11th pick of the said round. That's around where I had him charted to go.

I would go with Heap, Shockey, KW II anytime after mid 4th provided you are set in the QB & RB positions since those are your money positions (usually).

5th round maybe Crumpler. After that, I would touch one until at least the 9th round. If you can land a Keenan McCardell or Donte Stallworth as a backup then I would take them instead. Better to bolster your bench than take a big gamble on a TE who may end up being dropped a month into the season.

Just my $.02. Okay, maybe it was more like a nickels worth.
