In 2002 I went 12-2 in a 12 team league but lost in the first round of the playoffs. My roster looked like this...

QB Rich Gannon (4680 26TD 10INT - 156 rushing 3 TD's)
RB Eddie George (1,165 12 TD's - 255 receiving 2 TD's)
RB Corey Dillon (1,311 7 TD's - 300 receiving)
WR Terrell Owens (1,300 14 TD's)
WR Tim Brown (930 2 TD's)
TE Tony Gonzalez (773 7 TD's)
K Ryan Longwell (128 total points)
D Buccaneers (killed everyone that year)

What's funny is that last year, I also took Gannon, Eddie and Owens, and they all had a drop in production. Classic case of going to the well one too many times.

last year, i was in 4 leagues. 3 of which i was the champion of. i went 14 - 2, 13 - 3, 12 - 4, 9 - 7. The funny thing is that i lost in the league in which i had the 14 - 2 record...

14-2. It was when the Buccaneers won the championship. I lost because SF had their playoff spot locked at #4 and they sat TO out.

Think my best was in 96 when i went 12-1...it was several years ago when I had:

QB Mitchell Det
RB Smith Dal
RB Anderson Atl
RB Davis Den
WR Moore Det
WR Michael Jackson (Forget with who,but hee hee)
WR Miller Den
TE Jackson GB
TE Walls Car
K Elam Den
Def Carolina

Pretty great roster for that year. Scored a ton of points.

of course lost in the playoffs. When i won it all i scraped in at
7-6 and won three straight for all the marbles.

Wow, that's an old roster! Emmitt, Terrell and Jamal? How'd you manage that? Walls was an elite tight end back then too.

I find it funny to go back and find my Super Nintendo and play Madden 96 or 97 just to look at the rosters.

Actually my best year was the first year I ever played fantasy football believe it or not. I can't remember my record but I won the championship in an 8 team league.

I stocked up at every position BUT running back and then took Fred Taylor and Robert Edwards who were rookies, and both happened to be top 10 RB's that year.

I was undefeated in a league last year, but I'm not sure how many times I've done that in my FF career.

Thanks Bagobonez it was actually a dynasty league. I had Emmitt and Davis I think and then traded for Jamal really early in the year. Mitchell actually had his career year, so in turn Herman Moore did too. Davis had a great year, and Michael Hee Hee Jackson and Miller each caught like 10 tds...not too mention Walls and Keith Jackson each having 10 tds...just ridiculous. I was very lucky.

Went 22-4 a few years ago, we play double headers each week to smooth out some of the irregularities that come with playing head-to-head.

Had a good team that year. 14 man league
E James -- lost him mid-season with injury
Farve--I think he was either the top or close to top QB that year
P Holmes--Got him in the 5th round, he lit it up second 1/2 of season
S Alexander-- He caught on fire after R Watters went out with injury
Had Joe horn too, but had to trade him right before he took off that year, to acquire R watters to back up S alexander
also had warrick dunn, he was a spot starter, and Plaxico B (rookie year) he came on at the end of season too

Needless to say, won the scoring title that year but lost in championship game when Farve put up a goose egg and ran into the buzzsaw known as Marshal Faulk. ALso lost the year before that to the eventual winner in the semi-final when Marshal Faulk went off. 4 TDs and like 230 total yards. Oh I hate that guy, cost me two league championships in two years.

Oh well, good season none the less.
