switching to a salary cap league

i wanna switch my league to a salary cap league (right now we run a keeper league with no salary, obv)...i have a basic understanding of some of the concepts but one thing i am not sure of is how to correlate stats with a specific salary...any help on any aspect of a salary cap league would be helpful
