If it does go to charity it seems to be a pretty well kept secret.

Well you must have not searched very hard. I couldn't find out what percentage goes to charities but I Googled it and came up with about 5 links that show money going to local schools, charities, Special Olympics and helps to pay the tuition to the academy for low-income kids.

When was the last time you guys volunteered to help coach a weekend long activity to kids you don't know. It's not Jake Delhomme's job to be Mother Teresa and spread football love and goodness thoughout the world. He's not a freaking criminal because he wants to spend some time with his kids.

I agree. I don't care what type of people football players are. I think Ray Lewis is a scumbag but I love to watch him play. My point was that the article took issue with Peyton on one point and then ignored that point when it came to Jake.

I've been reading the profootballtalk web site for a few months now. Although I occasionally find it entertaining, it seems the writer/editor (Florio) goes out of his way to write negative stories about people he doesn't like.

His controversial style may get a few extra hits on his site, but his negative vibes are starting to turn me off (which he did again by dissing Peyton Manning for no reason). I think I'm ready to quit reading Florio's site and stick to more reputable sites.
