Tiki Barber

The Giants were awful last year and Barber still managed to put up 1200+ yards rushing and 450+ receiving. Whether or not he can score TDs is the big question but I don't think the Giants' RL success has much bearing on Barber's fantasy impact.

Tiki never has been a TD scorer, and the fumbles kill ya. Plus now he has Coughlin who likes to use a goal line back. Remember all the Tds Stacey Mack scored from less than 5 yards out in Jax?

Which means nothing. Tiki has no TD rushes to steal. His value remains the same.

Tiki left a bad taste in his owners mouths last year, including me. You have to realize he's a fumbler. He just is. He's probably good for about 12 points a game in yardage. Will Coughlin put up with the fumbling? What about the new quarterback(s)? Will this affect his performance? I just can't get myself to like him. He's not a guy I want on my team.

everyone on the Giants sucked last year. They will be no better this year. The only close to a sure thing on the team is Shockey. I am even wary of Toomer.

I think Tiki is going to have a strong year. I'd draft him as my second back.
If Manning starts, he'll be looking to dump it off under pressure.
If Warner starts, he's used to dumping it off to his backs.
An article on Giants.com, stated that Coughlin had Tiki Barber running more aggressively and carrying the ball differently.
I think he'll not only get the yards rushing and receiving, but find the endzone more often as well.
Just my opinion but I think Tiki will be good for an average of
12 - 14 pts. a game.

If Dayne is productive, it will only help Tiki.
Last year everyone keyed on Tiki, because he was there only threat. More threats open up the field.

I have heard he's in the best shape of his life, BUT
He's starts so slow off the ball I just can't see him doing a lot.
I hope you're right about Dayne..would only help the Jints.
