Who will have the better year? Julius Jones or Charlie Garner? Garner's reunited with Gruden which could add to 1,000 rushing and 700 receiving and 10td (especially if Alstott can't stay healthy). Jones feels like a total wild card to me, 'cause Parcells does things with smoke and mirrors, I still can't figure out how hambrick and carter won ten games no matter how good that defense was. I'm asking 'cause i'm doing a mock on antsports and can't choose between the two for my 3rd rb. I'm picking 3rd of 10 in the 5th round.

I would say go with Jones, because he is the clear-cut starter in an offense that is improving.

If you dont have the other options - its a toss up - reluctantly I'll take JJones.

The reason I mentioned the other guys is because they often go after the two mentioned. I just didnt want this to be that type of situation where better options are being overlooked.

I like the fact that Garner is reunited with Gruden. Garner still looks to have some gas left in the tank. He is VERY athletic and elusive. He should at least be as good as Michael Pittman which means you'll have a 2RBBC. That is, you'll be playing matchup bingo at the 2RB spot all year, so make sure you get a good 3RB.

So yeah, back to the question.

That's a really tough question. Both are big question marks, so I'll give the edge to youth at a fragile position.

I'd take Jones over Garner. Jones should be an every down back all year. And you gotta think Parcells knows what he's doing with his team. The Cowboys are going to really try to run the ball. Garner's 32 and could be in a RBBC with Pittman. He's 2 years removed from his 1,900 yard, 11TD performance but the Bucs aren't near the offensive powerhouse that the Raiders were that year. Alstott of course will steal goalline carries. I don't think anyone will take those from Jones.

I'd say I'll follow suit and go with Julius as well. Parcells did well with what he had last year, which wasn't much. If Hambone can rush for 972 yrds 5 TDs PLUS 100 rec yrds, then JJones can whallop that total. Think about how often you saw Hambrick on the sideline getting reemed by Parcells. Now imagine JJones on the field breaking tackles and scoring touchdowns, instead.

All this being said, I do think that Garner will be worth a #3 spot, I'd just take JJones over him...
