As worthless a Couch was as a starter in Cleveland, how do you think he will do as a B/U to Favre in Green Bay. I don't think Brett will last the season, health wise.
How can you say he won't last the season? There is no way he doesn't play all 16 games. He would need to break a bone, and his style of play doesn't permit that. Couch has no value until Favre is gone, and even then, the Packers' WR core is so bad, that Couch will get numbers warranting Free Agency.

Well, with arguably the best o-line in football, Ahman, and some emerging young recievers, I think he'd do just fine. But, with that line and Ahman, I think Favre will last the season.
And B4P, I wouldn't call that recieving core "so bad." With all the crap about Favre just chucking it up, Favre still managed to lead the league in TD passes. If Favre is "losing it", he didn't manage to lead the league without talented (if oft-injured last season) recievers.

True, time isnt on Favre's side, but Favre defies time and all logic of how much football a single body should be able to take. My guess is that Favre will never miss a game, and sticks around until the Packers are convinced they have a bonafide starter to replace him at QB.
Favre won't get hurt. He hasn't missed a game forever. He has Ahman Green to carry the load, an amazing O-line that will protect him at all costs, and Javon Walker is ready to break the 1000 yard plateau. Favre will play all 16 games and put up top 5 QB numbers in the process. This is Green Bay's year.

Somebody's feeling like tough stuff since he got his very own Forum...
But watch it there, holmes...it's not over. If GB's WRs are "so bad," then how would you describe Minny's knack for choking when it matters? Oh you don't really need examples, do you?
