This year, and by this year I meant Maddox will start all year.

He should start every game unless he gets injured. I expect Ben to be ready in 2005. Tommy will do well this year as long as the line is healthy. I still expect to see Ben get about 25 snaps in spot duty throughout the season

I see a lot of parallels with the '04 Tommy Maddox and '03 Jon Kitna. Both guys were surrounded by talent on offense and were disregarded at the start of the season because of a lottery QB. Duce Staley brings a lot to this offense and frankly I would be surprised if Maddox doesn't outplay his draft position. I don't think Maddox goes to the bench unless he gets injured or the Steeler's are out of playoff contention in week 10.
