Shuttle Columbia lost :(

Dont know if any of you guys have seen the news but we have lost the space shuttle Columbia.

Looks to have broken up as it was coming in to land.

Such a sad day. I feel for the crews family's that were waiting on the ground.

If any solace can be taken from this at all, its that they at least got to space and can join the ranks of the few who have done that.

Makes you realize how much we've been taking the shuttles and their crews for granted...

Very sad. Prayers and well wishes to the families, friends, and co-workers. That's gotta be a really tough thing to handle.
