If Harrison is so great why was he below average until he Peyton & James showed up in town? his first 3 years he didn't reach 900 yards receiving.

Well, while I love Harrison, there could be a small amount of legitimacy to the doubling argument. Jacksonville doubled the hell out of him last year, and R.Wayne exploded. That may or may not be a product of doubling Harrison, or it could be Manning.

Which actually makes the arguement for the latter. When team's focused too much on Harrioson, they got burned elsewhere, and you didn't see the team the Colts played the next week making the same mistake, did you?

Moss can beat a double coverage speed and being tall. Harrison I don't think can break double coverage as much. Also with james not being the james of 1999 That is why I think R. wayne will have a better season.[/quote]
Granted that Harrison was slightly inconsisty last year, he is as fast as moss and manning's not quite in the young/montana league.. Manning's success is more a productive of harrison, he's always 20 yards open. Also, remeber Jerry rice was not 6-3 212 and he went over the middle a few times.

I would like to point out that Rice was not great because Montana and Young. Montana and Young were great because of Rice. As much as I hate to admit it, Culpepper wouldn't be half the QB he is with out Moss.

I agree Montana would have been nothing without Rice.
That's why Montana won a Super Bowl for the Niner's before Rice even became one.
