There’s some concern in the Jets’ organization on whether Martin will be 100 percent by training camp. Martin admittedly will need a full offseason of rehabilitation due to a high-ankle sprain, which hampered him throughout the entire season. Even when the season was over, Martin said he still was in pain. The injury, coupled with his age (he turns 30 in May), is cause for legitimate concern. (Rich Cimini/TSN)

I found this to be pretty big news for next year. 30 is pretty old for a RB, and you have to wonder if his glory days are behind him. I can still picture him being a top 20 back next year, but the days of drafting him in the frist round or even second are gone. Your thoughts?

my thoughts are I hope this guy comes back wth a force only matched by sailors on leave after 45 days at sea. Seriously, he's a hard-working, dedicated, no-nonsense back that when healthy, and gets 20+ carries, gets it done.

I love CM type players and hope that this is one guy whos ready to rip come this fall.

However, he's definately slipped over the last 2 years from an early 2nd to a 3rd rd pick. It doesnt help matters that Lamont Jordan is stealing as well.

This is why I drafted Jordan as a back-up RB in the Cafe's mock draft today!
