Word down here is that Lee just isn't hungry enough. He's not making it to One Buc Place every day and showing he's ready to win a job. We were pretty excited about him last year, but word is he'd in jeopardy of making the roster.

I can understand people holding out, IF YOU'RE GOOD. But mediocre ass players like McCardell gotta recognize when they are disposable.

Bottom line - McCardell had a career year last year and wanted to get paid as an elite WR. He's not, and the Bucs know it. He's a nice reliable middle of the pack WR whos not getting any younger. He should have gone for a bump in pay or added incentive clauses without getting greedy and playing the holdout card.

That said, Schroeder usually looks like he's catching passes with oven mitts on, I don't like him that much.

Im firmly opposed to players holding out, crying about playing time, or money. KMac will get what he deserves as the NFL is a flavor of the month league and Kmac will sit on his can all year and hopefully will never get the money he wants. As a Lions Fan i would like to thank the Buccs for picking up Bill Stone Hands Schroeder now they can have the pleasure of sore throats from yelling at him every sunday for dropping pass after pass.

THANK YOU! for posting this... I couldn't believe I was reading this whole thread and not seeing one bad word about Bill. As a Lions fan (next to the Skins)... I've hated this POS for the last 2 years. Anyone that has followed the Lions for any amount of time the last two years, has to have a knowledge of the hatred for this guy around here. Biggest waste of money EVER! And we had Andre Ware and Scott Mitchell!!!!!

I'm glad he's in Tampa taking up a roster spot... enjoy! ;-D
