Help with Defensive player Draft!!

Postby gravediggers » Tue Jul 20, 2004 8:42 pm

Well I've played fantasy football before, But i've never done it involing defensive players. I usually played with the defensive teams. So I'm in a league with my friends that have defensive players. So where in the draft should I pick these guys? Are any of them first roudn material??

Also can any1 send me their draft data involving defensive players?

Go check out FootballGuys.com and FFToday.com. Both sites have pretty good IDP projections. This site has IDP cheat sheets but I'm not sure if they're up yet.

I don't think any defensive players are worth selecting in the 1st round. The point totals between defensive players seem to be smaller margins than those of offensive players.

I will never buy this RB frenzy crap. I picked up westbrook and rudi and did just fine.

WR is the true headache. There is nothing more comforting than plugging in 2 stud WR's instead of poring over 5 WR's numbers and opponents trying to extract the best 2. And guess what...you never get them right. A 2nd or 3rd tier RB will give you around 80 combined and a possible TD while the same level WR is more than capable of posting 12 yards and 0 TD's.

If you can get Priest and LT than congrats. Otherwise the difference between Tiki who went in round 2 and Westbrook or Duckett or George or Martin or Moe Williams or Buckhalter is minimal.

Anyway bah-bah black sheep... I go against the grain and take your moneys. All of your forts are now belong to us }:-)

wow...a scoring system like that takes some umph out of the Top LBs. Makes me think that Strahan would deserve the top honors now... :-?

How many starters for defense do you have? What positions?
