If Vick were still available in the 3rd round I would be tempted to make a go at him. Going into draft day, the only QB I know I wouldn't pass up would be Culpepper. Like many, I'm not an avid fan at jumping at a QB early but Vick is just one of those players you want to have on your team so that you can bathe in his play time all season with NFL Sunday Ticket. and say, "that's my guy!" Vick makes your heart palpitate when he decides to scramble, partly because you don't know if he's going to get leveled by a SS or break off a 56-yard run. That's part of what makes fantasy football so entertaining.

If I were to get Vick, I would try to focus on getting a decent backup just in case. I'd probably look to pick up a QB in my 11-15 rankings, roughly the 3rd tier of QB's going into the draft.

more proven QBs than him have struggled mightily to learn the west coast offense and Trestman isn't necessarily the best teacher, IMO. Maybe he'll catch on quicker than I think but I think the soonest that he would flourish in that system would be the 5th-6th week.

I'll give you that Vick has to learn the O, but with his scrambling ability he keeps the D honest. That allows his receivers to get open and gives him the time to go through his progressions. I think he'll still be a very dangerous man as he is learning the west coast thing.

Green out performed McNabb last year as far as I'm concerned. Now with Owens going to the Eagles, maybe he will do better, but with Owen's ego and McNabb's performance last year (IMO) I'm staying away from both. This team just might implode.

kvnhbbrd, your rankings look pretty good to me. I could see Green being higher and McNabb being lower and Bulger being replaced with Brady.
