TE in Denver

How prominent a role do you see the TE playing in the Bronco's offensive scheme this year? Obviously Jed Weaver is no Shannon Sharpe but he was the #3 receiver on a bad 49ers team filling in for Eric Johnson last year. What kinda numbers can we expect from Weaver?????

I'm wondering the same thing. The last time Sharpe left, the TE position was split up among Clark and Carswell so I'm assuming the same thing will happen with Chamberlain and Weaver. I did pick up Weaver in my dynasty league, though, just in case. Hopefully camp will shed some light on it.

Not much noise about this from what Ive heard.

This is pure speculation, but with Portis and Sharpe both gone and a commitment to defense this offseason, I can see Denver going toward a ball control approach this yr. That being said, I wouldnt think either TE will replicate Sharpe by any means. For now, I do see Chamberlain getting the bulk of the passes between Weaver and him. Chamberlain could be a nice sleeper TE this yr.
