Mariucci to have more input on football decisions

While there remains one minor element to navigate, ESPN.com has learned that the Detroit Lions and Steve Mariucci have reached agreement on all of the major components of a five-year contract, and that the deal should be completed Tuesday with an introductory press conference likely Wednesday.

Heard a little bit on the radio this morning. Sounds like a good deal for him. I do know that Millen's butt is on the line here. If Mooch can't turn the Lions around, and I mean soon, Millen is gone.

shoud be interesting to see what he can do for the franchise. with him there and a little help on defense they could be a .500 team next year...maybe. i can almost garauntee that mooch won't take a loss by kicking the ball away in OT and rook your right if this doesnt work millen will get the big ax
