I hear a lot of praise for Duce as a #2.I could be not thinking clearly, but wouldn't a full time runner like T Jones be a better option?I ask because I may possibly fall in the same situation, and will have to make the choice myself. :-o

I personally think you will end up starting Tjones a couple of games into the season but as a number 2 in a 12 team league I think deuce is a decent option.

I believe A-train will take away as many if not more carries then Bettis.

As high as I am on TJones, I think Duce is slightly better going into the yr. I see Duce as a low end #2 with upside, and TJones as a high end #3 with upside.

Anthony Thomas is a substantially better threat to not only take carries, but win the job back than Bettis. Bettis at this point is kept because he's an important memeber of the franchise and crowd favorite. Duce will see 90% of the running plays in Pittsburgh. Even if he finally manages to keep a starting spot, Thomas Jones will probably get about 70% of the carries.

I suppose in a deeper league he's an okay choice. 7 years in the league and he's topped 1,000 yds. rushing 3 times. He's had over 300 carries once in that time. He does average about 10 TDs per year so that's a plus. I just don't know that I like him in that system.
