will gordon keep the #2 spot or will the rookie Jackson earn the spot?
You could think of government workers like teenagers. You pay them an allowance, but do you get any work out them? They eat the food, put their feet on the furniture and complain loudly whenever they are unhappy.

already some discussion on this...

Martz is currently pissed at Jackson for missing a weekend workout. He is also listed at #4 right now. Does this mean he stays there? No, but Jackson is going way too high for me right now.

Pissed or not pissed, Martz won't be able to keep a first-round draft pick stud out of the starting lineup WHEN Faulk goes down. However, keep an eye on the contract situation. Last I heard, nothing was moving in the land of contracts. If it takes most of the summer for Jackson to sign, then it will mean he'll start the season behind schedule as far as learning the new system. If that happens, I'd expect Gordon to be the main backup until Jackson has shown he's prepared.
