As a KC fan, I have two words for Miami....Larry Johnson

We would take Chanbers lol

Also, this argumenton whether he has the right to retire etc....its not that he did it but its who he had influencing him, his mental situation etc

-he smokes pot
-he fraternizes with people like Snoop DOgg and Master P
-he has an anti-social disorder
-he doesnt always take his meds for the disorder
-he was looking out for himself and had no inkling of identifying himself with his team.

It adds up to that he is a nutcase....forget going to hang out with Bob Marley's family or Lenny Kravitz, he should be in a mental hospital.....I can see him beinga Demetrius Underwood, wandering the highways with a shotgun in the near future.
Your first two points have nothing to do with the conclusion that he's a "nutcase." Plenty of people fraternixe with Snoop and Master P. Millions smoke pot, especially athletes; why wake up with a hangover when you can smoke a couple joints?

He made his money, he doesn't want to need to walk around with a cane when he's 40 (see Earl Campbell), he wants to enjoy his life. Not taking his meds is the only crazy thing he's doing.

WOW, just back from a few days in sunny Fla, with no internet access and no tv. I cant believe this, I thought it was April fools for a minute.

I do have him as a keeper in one of my leagues, so im pretty well hosed there now.

With his horrible offensive line and the number of carries he receives (plus his fondness of marijuana and the NFL's drug testing), I have no doubt in my mind he was sincerely unhappy in the NFL.

I wonder if he had a little talk with another heisman rusher from texas in Earl Campbell and didnt want to end up the same way... Everyone knows how painful it looks when you see Earl Campbell...

As a huge ricky fan I am really dissapointed, I was really looking forward to a bounce back year... He was definetly one of the best players in the NFL to watch because of his speed and running style, unfortunately I will go throught this season without being able to see that ( and i just got NFL Sunday Ticket). :~(

I also have him in my big money league which is a huge blow as I was hoping to make a run for the title with him and Shaun Alexander Carrying me... lucky for me I drafted Barlow last year relatively early and I can start him as my second back which isnt bad in this league but its not ideal... And now thomas jones is my 3rd.

Our draft is on august first so I hope they find/ trade for a replacement by then. :-o
