Well, hes living the life he wants to now. How can you be angry at the guy? Hes happier out of football. And the beating he took was going to take a toll on him. I think that was one of the main factors he quit. I bet he did talk with Earl Campbell theheat.

The way he handled the situation was classless. I could care less if he retires - I'm happy for him if he's happy. The way he did it though... not cool. :-t

Heh, this little bombshell could lead to the first ever case of suicide due to Fantasy Football. You never know, there are some nuts out there.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I think the last time the Dolphins made the playoffs was 2000 when they lost the Divisional Playoffs. :-?

I understand that this move by Ricky was classless, but let's take a look at how some of the other teams have treated other players. The Patriots cutting Lawyer Milloy right before the season starts.... Classless.

It's a business, Ricky was feed up, burned out. I've meet him, I live in Austin, he came to my kids school (Yes, got the picture) to visit my kids teacher (they were friends) and even said that he loved kids and would like to be a teacher some day. Right off the bat I realized that this guy walked to a different drum beat. He as quietly strange, very large, but strange. "Eccentric" I believe is the kind word for such a person. Very eccentric.

He obiviously has some mild mental problems. The social disorder, the addiction to pot, seriously lack of maturity. He has 3 kids from three different mothers. Some role model. He left the Fins out to dry.

One thing is for sure..... Haslett and the Saints are saying "Thanks God we got rid of that guy.... for a 1st round draft pick no less".
