Why the heck should people be punished? If someone is dumb enough to do the deal, and then it somehow gets through the league, they should be the ones punished.

'Twas a fun year, fellas.

hey i never said they should be punished, but if i hadnt read this board i may have accepted the deal, then i would have been bitter. IMO, It's pretty low to try and trade someone you know has retired though

On the other hand, I bet there are some fairly one-sided trades being offered to (theoretically) desperate Ricky owners. "Hey, he just lost his first rounder, bet I can con him into taking this lamer..."

yeah i got one today as well. He even went as far enough to say that he didn't think Ricky would do well this year and was hoping to get some help at WR. his Ricky for my K. Robinson.

I just laughed it off and rejected it. I wrote him a note asking if he would take my Barry Sanders instead.

But i am pretty sure he sent one out to a few of the owners. Just the way he is.

Doesn't really matter though. I mean even if someone accepts it. It will probably get voted down by the league anyway.

I hope he comes back. I have been building my team arounf him for the last two years. I hope he did this just so he would not have to go to camp.
