Is Shane Matthews (the QB) a Pickup?

Just curious, is Shane a good pickup for trade bait or possible backup QB?

If Matthews goes kicking then i can trade him. There isnt much at QB for the other 7 teams. Its a 10 team league but me and two other people ( friends) are stacked with QB and alot of people are after Manning an Culpepper. I definately wont part with Manning and Culpepper unless i get a holy offer.

Mathews seemed to fit into the Fun'And'Gun perfectly.But your set at QB,and you don't look so bad at WR either,I would see how this team fares before I go making huge trades.

matthews will do well this season i think. u might drop steve smith for him if u think u can trade him away.

U got 2 real good backs in Holmes and Tomlinson. You got what looks to be 2 real good QB's in Culpepper and Manning but you only got 2 real good receivers in Boston and Holt. I assume ur league starts 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR so i would pick up matthews as he makes for a solid trade offer after the Skins and his performance this past weekend. Offer him up for a receiver like Rod Gardner whos going to see a lot of touches this season. Or try and go for a Terrel Owens or Marvin Harrison although i wouldnt be too sure about the other person accepting.
