Aaron Brooks Update.

The Saints were ecstatic about the success of Brooks’ shoulder surgery. The tear in Brooks’ right rotator cuff was so small that doctors had trouble locating it. Once it had been found, the procedure was completed quickly and routinely. The Saints hope Brooks can begin rehabilitating by March and start throwing in May, during the club’s first minicamp. The main goal is to re-gain strength in the shoulder, back and upper arm because the muscles could atrophy from non-use during the downtime after the procedure. That said, they Saints will be extremely cautious with the injury.

I have a torn rotator cuff and severe muscle damage in my shoulder as we speak. Ive never felt pain like it. I can only dream of treatment like Brooks will get, but I wouldnt assume anything when it comes to rehab after that surgery. Like any other injured player, he will have to prove himself all over again before the season starts.

just to bring this up...

everyone was brooks bashing at the end of last year, but as homeless said it is very painful and the poor guy played through it. they probably shoulda started dolhemme, but since they didnt i give him credit for taking the leadership role and goin out there to play hurt. too few of players do that anymore.

I had Brooks this past year and he makes you sweat till the 2nd half of every game...but by the time the games over he has scored you a solid 20 points...nothing wrong with that...maybe this help him more then anything else...I don't see it takeing anything away from him or even haveing t reprove himself...he is a solid Qb and will be for years to come...you just have to deal with his picks...just like you have to deal with Farves...you know there coming and he will make up for them.
