This is interesting. My feeling is that Avery could be a solid back in the right situation - I'm just not sure Minnesota is it...

My thoughts exactly.
Had high hopes for Avery ... at the time.
His Canadian success shows he has the skills ... in the right situation.
Don't see him doing much more than returning punts, or relief play, @ Minnesota.
Glad to see he's getting a 2nd shot at the NFL, though.
I kinda liked him. One of those guys you "keep your eye on".

Watching him since his Miami days the man has the skills to do the job!

His Success in the XFL and the CFL has definitely developed this guy in to a would be starter

I think he is just a late bloomer and is slowly working his way back into the NFL

He will probably just be a return guy this year and a back-up to Bennett if Williams leaves town.

If Bennett could lose his job to this guy if he sustains an injury, Last year playing in the CFL Avery really got better as a rec. and he is also a better blocker than Bennett

Watch out Bennett if you get hurt you could be on the unemployement line!!!!!
