Just Got Madden 2005

so far ive played 2 games, and i have found it hard to run. ive stil managed to get about 85-95 yds rushing in both games, but the majority came in the 4th quarter. passing is alot easier, but i wanna get the running game down.

the defensive adjustments are unreal, its really like your quarterbacking your defense out there. the hitstick is nice, just make sure you use it wisely, otherwise the opponent will gain a nice chuck of yards.

ive also been messing around with the older maddens. my my, how far have these games come. seeing the differences between them all is too much. i cant believe we thought these were awesome back in the day.

im about to mess around with franchise mode a bit, and ill let you know how that is.

Thanks for the updates Jay ....when you start your franchise, make sure you cut Quincy to "keep it real."

I was going to try and use 2K5 to keep me from getting Madden for a while, and possibly hold out until I could find it a bit cheaper, but I'm starting to covet Madden after hearing you talk about it........Please keep us updated as you get the feel for it

oh yeah no doubt duke, thats the first thing i did was go online and download the new rosters.

starting preseason now in franchise mode, i am considering throwing henson to the wolves to see how he handles it. only a 2pt differential between vinny and hensons overall rating. drew has him beat in just about every catagory except awareness.
