Question for McCardell owners?

I currently have McCardell on my team. When should we consider cutting our losses and finding another player while there is still a couple of good players on the waiver wire? Clayton's sitting on the WW and his value is surely going up every week McCardell sits out. The QB has to throw to somebody down there. I do not feel Galloway and Brown are the answer.

If the answer is to hold on to him, then how long?

The answer is to hold on to him until he proves he is willing to miss games. There not trading him, and not dropping him, so he is going to have to play for the team or sit out. If he sits out the first game, he means business.

this whole mccardell thing sucks. i think he is a solid player but if i wait a game into the season one of the other lsu fans in my league will pick up clayton. i don't feel i can drop a current WR from my team either. oh well, i will not be drafting him in my second league.

Yeah, just hold onto him until you know where he ends up. It's a wait-and-see scenario.

I'm going to hold on to him until I can't start either Chad Johnson or Joe Horn (whether it be bye week or injury) and if he's still not suiting up by then I'll cut him. But if some undrafted guy starts lighting it up in the first couple of games (like Boldin did last year) I might have to cut him a little earlier than that.

I was hoping Tampa would cut him and the Fins would sign him.

And it's not even like he doesn't have a contract. He does. Just play it out and get your money later Keenan.

I think the Brown signing was TB's wakeup call to Keenan that they're ready and willing to move on without him.

Once the season starts getting closer I have a feeling he'll change his tune and play.

Some one in my my league just dropped Keenan and pick up Darius Watts because of his average performance last night.

I have an extra roster space and was thinking about picking up Keenan. Is the any strong oblections to this?

ID pick him up.. i still think there is a chance he ends up in miami.. and if he does, he is the man there.

Yes you do have to hold onto him for now, but be mindful of how long this holdout goes. If he ends up back in TB when this is said and done, no problem. If he ends up some place else in the next few weeks, I may be a little leery of him learning a new offense on the fly.

As for other TB WR possibilities, Charles Lee should be floating around your WW.
