Andre Johnson was drafted last year and played his rookie season last year so i believe that would put him in only YEAR 2, whereas the question was what 3rd year WRs

My pick for breakout 3rd year WR would be Branch. Stallworth I think has the talent, but I'm not willing to bet on him staying healthy for over half a season. Lelie, he was a major underachiever last year, and I think Watts will unseat Rod Smith as #1 WR on the Broncos before Lelie does. Walker I like as much as Stallworth, but Favre hasn't really had a go-to guy in awhile, and has plenty of equally above average targets to throw to (Franks, Driver, Ferguson, Walker).

David Givens- He had a nice post season and as much as NE throws the ball he will be on the other end of those passes.

Yup. He's going to be the new Troy Brown in New England. Heh, I started thinking about drafting this guy this year, LAST year. Heh.

As a Pats fan, I'll be avoiding all Patriot WRs. They are too deep. It's always a different star every game. Not worth risking a potential zero for the one big game.

Was watching SportsCenter this morning. Is David Terrell a 3rd year WR too? Any chance he'll start along side Booker?

No one NE wr has ever had a monster year even under bledose when glenn had 5 tds and 1000+ yards....now they have dillon. I think you could make cases for Lelie(undisputed starter now), stallworth(good rookie campaign and blazing speed if healthy). But I still think 2nd year man andre johnson's stats last year, his speed and size combo, and the 3rd pick in draft, are more appealing than any of those guys. There was another muich better thread on this before with detailed analysis you might wanna search for too.
