Skins sign Ray Brown to shore up battered o-line

Postby KingGhidra » Thu Aug 12, 2004 9:35 am

The Washington Post reports that Washington has signed 41-year old OL Ray Brown in order to help fill the void created by the season ending injury to RT Jon Jansen.

In case you couldn't tell, this guy is OOOOOLD. So old in fact, that he actually played with Gibbs the last time he coached the Redskins. Of course as old as he is, he's only missed 3 starts the last 11 years.

Hey, why not? As you've pointed out, he hasn't missed games. At the very least he can help tutor some youngster.

They could have at least found someone not drawing Medicaid.
