Wow. Jerry Rice in a normal system that year
250 points in 12 games. Pretty damn good. Marinos was godlike, considering that was his rookie season I believe, he scored 457 fantasy points. WOW.

It was his second year.
And lets just say Rice had a pretty good year for WRs.
Wow, and here I am thinking I'm a young guy in this cafe being born in 1980.
I think Warner probably had the next best years for a QB. I don't remember exactly what the numbers were but I'm sure they were close to Marino's numbers.
I like the way KG did it. I think the best seasons are the ones were there is great separation between one player to the next. In that case Emmits season was one of the best ever.
I like using that messure because it takes trends in to consideration. Like the question: Which homerrun record is most immpressive? Barry and Mark hitting 70 in a time where baseballs are flying out of ballparks and everyone is hitting over 40 homers. Or the Babe's 60 homers when the next closeest guy had 30 something? To me Babe's season was unbelievable. To double up the next best is amazing. Anyway, thats my speil for the day.
So they weren't the best...and may have ended the worst. SO WHAT!
