Who deserves the most sympathy?

I feel worse for the Phin{ phans. They had a pretty good team that has been reduced to mediocre. Card fans are used to mediocrity so should cope better. Worse of all for the Phin{ Phan is that the Phins{ are still good enough to win 6-8 games and given the decimation of Boston and Doper incidents, that should reduce the public outcry that would lead to the firing that Wannstedt is so overdue for.

Plus the Fins won't get an elusive top draft pick.

Granted Shipp was their #2 back, i am assuming he would have taken over the role if/when Emmitt gets hurt or doesn't produce.
