Why so negative on Harrington and Palmer? Seems to me they have some good weapons at their disposal. Surely you dont look at the last 2 yrs for Harrington and assume he will put up similar numbers do you?

And what about Palmer - didnt Kitna have solid stats last yr? You dont think that between Johnson, Warrick, and Rudi, Palmer wont put up stats good enough to be a backup QB?

Carr then Leftwich.

Switch up Leftwich and Carr and that's how I see it.

Exactly, both of these guys have a lot of potential but I could see the Jaguars having sucess this season and Leftwich is a solid backup with a lot of potential. Carr didnt improve much from 02 to 03, but I think this year he should provide a serviceable backup.

Part of Carr's #s slipping last year was due to injury. Granted he didn't light the world on fire, but he got hurt right as DD was assuming the mantle of RB there. I think with DD and Johnson back in force this season, he could really surprise.

Yeah, me too. I'm very high on Andre Johnson this season but I still think Leftwich gets the edge. No way I'd count on Palmer yet. I also wouldn't draft Harrington - why should I? He'll be available on the WW after the draft if I want him.

The only problem with Leftwich is he ain't exactly a secret anymore. Like D. Davis, he's steadily moving up the draft boards to the point that you're reaching to draft him. I've seen guys take him as their #1 QB in mocks.

There's a fine line between being high on a guy and just being high.
