1996 was my first season as an owner. I made it to the playoffs just limping along. Don't remember how far I was down, but it looked bad. I only had 1 guy left and needed probably 30 points or so. The only guy I had left was a guy I picked up because of injuries and he had not done all that much.

Well, week 16, the Rams played the Falcons. The only guy I had playing was Eddie Kennison. He scored 3 touchdowns and 226 yards for 40 points. Took down the championship my first year.

Boldin's garbage time 60 yard TD reception in week 16 won me some $$$ in a td distance league.

My friends had printed me a huck it to boldin!!! t-shirt that year because I was screaming it every week at 4:00

It is definitely a shame he missed it, though.

It was terrible that he missed it, but he gets too much blame for missing it. If you watch the play, look at the way the punter holds it. The ball is sitting at roughly a 45 degree angle. Yes, it was still only 19 yards out, but it can be very difficult to kick a ball accurately when it's tilted like this / and you're expecting it to be held like this |.


To stay on topic - my best scoring play(s) was also the Peyton Manning game against the Saints. I didn't really need it, but it was great when I blew out my opponent by 80 points.

in the fantasy championship of the 02-03 season, i had martin gramatica going up against tampa 's d. i needed tampa to get scored on & gramatica to make a 50 yrdr..it was
17-0 and tampa was driving for their first score,..i was jumpin up & down screaming..he lines up for a 50 yrdr, hits it, get called on a penalty.... i wound up losing by 3 pts...had he hit it i would have won...jeff garcias 5 td performance against dallas was nice
to get me in...worst gambling experince....
