More enforcement of No Contact after 5yds impact?

Any thoughts on the type of receivers it may benefit more than others?

Obviously it will really depend on how much they enforce it, but seems to me the smaller the receiver, the more effective such contact was in the past, hence they may do better now.

Or does it help everyone?

A lot of people are grumbling that this will really hurt the Patriots defense since they're known for those little bumps. The rule won't change the fact that Law is one of the best, if not the best, in the league, but it probably will mean a few more penalties on NE defense. Fantasy wise I expect it to have more of an impact on defenses than WRs. A few yards doesn't mean much in fantasy points but a penalty that ends up allowing a score could cost your defense a shutout bonus or at least drop it to the next scoring level.

We'll have to see how insanely it's enforced and whether the coaches can control their players.

It's all about parity. More penalties on the best defenses will result in a few more scores by lesser offenses, possibly resulting in closer games. I think if the NFL had it's way, every game would end 28-27 and every team would finish 8-8.

Who will benefit the most ? Two words: RANDY MOSS.

In principale: every fast and athletic receiver; the quicker they are on there route, the better they will perform.

As Marvin H. said... he gets his catches already, doens't affect him much. Moss was burning people before, now there will just be a flag and they'll be 2nd and 5, and running.

I think the ones it helps is yes the fast ones, but the ones on the cusp of being great, maybe smaller WRs too... I don't think it will be a value add on the big timers.

(damn it... maybe I am totally wrong... just thinking of R Moss being able to run untouched... )

it helps rookie receivers the most. Anyone who has been in the league for 3-4 years knows how to get off a jam...but that is the hardest thing for rookies to learn.
