Is it just me or is that first team Baltimore o-line looking BAAAAAD. Atlanta D can't be that much better can it?

I was thinking the same thing, is the Atlanta D strongly improved or having sucess due to the weak Raves line. But on the other side of the ball the Ravens have been their usual selves.

And I am pretty impressed from what I am seeing from Matt Schaub so far...

Both Schaub and Boller have responded to pressure well.

And Boller gets the first points on the board with a TD to Wilcox.

Another guy who has done pretty well is Chester
Taylor. Could get a significant number of carries when J Lew is out.

As bad as the Ravens pass protection has been, Boller has looked GREAT under pressure. Making smart throws and occasionally tucking it under to pick up 3-4 yards.

you could definitely see a difference in boller, he has matured.

schaub was very consistant, looks like they have a decent backup. Could just be the high percentage passes making him look good.

Kevin Johnson made a nice grab, looks like he might be worth keeping an eye on.

On that same note, was travis taylor even playing?? lol.

Chester looked impressive, as he always has backing up jamal. This is partially why I never understood people thinking musa would get most of the carries with jamal out. I think chester is the guy to handcuff.

And yes, either baltimore's o-line got worse or atlanta's D got a heck of a lot better. I think atlanta might have been blitzing a lot though.

Atlanta's DEF did look really good, but it's the preseason. DEF's always come around before the offense, but the Ravens DEF's looked really fast.

I'm not too sure the WCO is gonna fit Vick. Vick's going to have to learn to audible, checkdown and learn a new playbook. He had only 1 drive so I guess I'll have to wait a while to see what he does the next few weeks, but he just didn't look like he knew what he was doing and from the way the coaches were preaching to him when Schaub went in.

Didn't Atlanta have to cut back the playbook for him when Reeve's was there?

Salisbury made a great point about Boller on the pregame show. They showed how Fossel was coaching Boller and working on his mechanics. Salisbury seems to believe that between Billick, Cavanaugh and Fossel, someone is going to have their eye on Boller the entire time, helping to correct those things that hampered his play last year. According to Salisbury, expect a double quantum improvement.
