anyone worried about Shockey's foot problems or injuries in general this year? Will the new QB's raise or lower his TDs?

I think he'll be fine and not effect his TDs. He's already practicing with the team. 2 new QBs in NY will look for nice big target over the middle in red zone.

Im more worried about the QBs. His TDs can't go much lower, and I think Warner and Eli suck, so Ill say he gets like 600 yards and 2 TDs. The TEs that will outscore him this year
Tony Gonzalez
Todd Heap
Kellen Winslow
Alge Crumpler
possibly Boo Williams

Until he proves that he can score more than 2 TDs and play a full season, Im not taking him until the 7th round at the earliest.

If you arent worried you should be. He is obviously injury prone and is still out from injury. Those are red flags.

Dont get me wrong - I still have him rated as a top 4 TE, but his price in a draft should be around the 6th-rd.

As for whether his TDs go up or down - it would be pretty hard to bring them down. :-b

I really don't like NYG players this year because they are going to be awful. Ill give Warner 3 weeks before he gets a concussion. Then its E-Cry time. Big trouble for Barber, Toomer and Shockey.

maybe lower was not the right word...but stay low! I just find it hard to believe he can catch 75 passes and only two TD's. I just have a hunch this guy will bully Eli into passing to him in the End Zone when he takes over.

I try to ignore shockeys performance last year due to injuries and overall the giants sucking. But, I remmeber him 2 years ago in the NFC divisional game against san fran. he was dominant against a very formidable julian peterson. so based on pure raw talnet, shokcey is awesome. now, his situation may not be the best, but I have a feeling he will put up decent numbers.

I got him in the seventh round. I thought it was great value.
I agree with earlier, he has to score more than 2 if he's healthy. Here's to hoping he's healthy and a beast!

With the way he plays, that foot injury could become something much worse. Thus, he will probably have to hold back a bit. Don't look for incredible numbers but he should return to form later in the season. But by then it could be too late. Right now he is not worth it.
