Sleepers to be in WR top ten

Postby Bears_Fan » Sat Aug 14, 2004 7:08 pm

Andre Johnson seems poised to use his great size/speed to elevate himself to the next level and Moulds could on an even year return to form. Which of these 6 is most likely to return to their top 10 potential.
A. Johnson
E. Moulds
J. Smith
P. Burress
K. Robinson
P. Price

Since those guys are gone by the 7th round I really wouldnt call them sleepers. Though I really like Andre Johnson this year.

Out of that list, Andre Johnson and Eric Moulds are much more likely to reach the top ten that the others.

Out of the two, I tend to favor Johnson mainly because I don't trust Bledsoe too much.

I wouldn't call him a real sleeper, but I think Javon Walker could break into the top 10 WR's this season.

None of those are sleepers really, but I would take Moulds as the most likely. He is a proven vet and now has a WR to take the heat off of him. I have enough faith in Bledsoe to believe he wont be as horrid as last year, and Mularkey there helps the team a lot. With that said AJ aint half bad either, he should do very well but come on everyone thinks that. B-)

If you want to stretch, I'll say J. Smith. I think he'll click with Leftwich nicely this year.

I know this much for darn sure! I'm not wasting another 4th round pick on K-Rob this year! :~(
That's my two cents and it's worth every penny of it!

The Fantasy Football Index has Rod Smith listed as the fourth best wide receiver OVERALL.

At first I thought I bought a three year old magizine but the cover says 2004.

Their logic is that without Portis, Sharpe or McCaffery, Smith should have lots of balls go his way.
