Jason Witten, LJ Smith, Chris Cooley......Gates doesn't seem to be much of a secret anymore in fantasy drafts, but he should do well...Brees seems to target the TE often, and it's looking like he will start.

Dallas Clark seems to be dropping pretty far now. Am I missing something? He's seems to be a pretty solid starting TE

I've been targetting Witten. He did well last season as a rookie (even missed a few games and still had decent numbers). Dallas has also stated they want him more involved in the offense this season. I'm not expecting him to be top 5, but I wouldn't be surprised if he hits top 10 and he's been going undrafted in a lot of mocks.

I would agree with Witten and I have to draft my namesake even though he is a redskin :-[

My "So deep sleeper TE that I couldn't even keep my thread about him alive" is Jed Weaver of DEN. He has great hands and is an excellent blocker. He's beating out Byron Chaimberlain, just signed a 3 yr deal, and had a serviceable year at SF last season.

John

PS - In case you look at my signature, notice I did not pick him. That is how deep he is, lol. Actually, if he starts in Game 1, I'll pick him up.

You mean alll TE's aren't sleepers?

Outside of the well known TEs, such as Gonzo, Heap, Shockey, Crumpler, they will all put up very similar numbers. One drafted in the late rounds isn't going to be all that much better than one you can pick up on the WW.
