Its not actually that bad for him, think about it this way, everyone expects him to fail at the bungles, so if he can get them a few more wins each season than theyre used too, then he is a winner when he leaves.

you guys make good points yeah there is pressure on him but to go 5-11 or 6-10 and get praised really isnt as bad as it could be. look an dennis erikson if SF doesnt make the playoffs hes screwed!
Anyone that has ever watched a pro-football game knows that the Bengals are not going to trun it around in one year and be a superbowl contender.
Lewis has his work cut out for him and it will be a long painful road.
As long as Brown gives Lewis a chance and is patient you will see the bengal build them self out of this mess. They have a lot of good young talent on this team and a few impact players at key positions and a leader with the right system and motivation (see John Gruden) like Lewis the Bengals can be a Superbowl contender in two to three years
