This talk about David Boston perhaps going to Atlanta makes me want to ask the question:
"What the hell ever happened to Jamal Anderson?"
Is he in the league, out of the league, retired, hurt, healed, with the Falcons, or what?
I don't think I ever actually heard.
Just saw him doing that part-time, lame-o spot, the "Jam Session" (LOL) with ESPN last season.
Anybody know? Seemed to me he had a lot left before he got hurt.
Just curious.

What's WITH these guys and the money?
JA already has a bazillion $ if he hasn't blown it all.
Prove it first. Play for the minimum (a platry $560,000! LOL! I know. Who can live on that?) and THEN get the PayDay.
Jeez Louise.

Agreed Wease ,but, wanting it and getting it are two

diffrent things. I guess that's why he's not playing.

I blame the agents, they tell these guys to sit out a season and they'll get a bigger pay day next time around.

Think about that for a minute, sit out a season, so you lose a whole years income right there, but the worst part, you dont get to play pro football !!!!

If that were me i'd be paying them to let me play.

Some of these guys need a serious reality check.

Ok im done complaining :-)

Yes! Yes! Exactly.
What the hell. You're not playing anyway.
Why not take the $.5M on a one year deal.
You could get that most anywhere.
What else are you going to do? Sell insurance?

AND - as mentioned on another thread - you may remember - the Bucs offered Ricky Watters a job, and he said "NO".
Because of the $.
Like he had something else to do.
RIGHT NOW - he'd be sitting at home, richer, WITH a Super Bowl ring.
A "serious reality check" is exactly right.
Good post, Homeless!

The only thing beside Jam session( a waste of 5 minutes) i heard last year was he tryed out for the Pats twice half way through the season but they said he was not in "Football Shape"

So he is looking and if he can get his fat a$$ in shape maybe you might see him as a back-up somewhere

thats it, they didn't like the way he looked and told him they would think about it and sent him home....I guess they thought about it and NA!...I do hear that they are interested in Stephen Davis though....
