RB shakeup

I share the delusions that LT and Priest will no be the top scoring running backs. We can always say look at the last two years....well, this year is different. I see LT in an even worse offensive situation and I do think if Gonzo's injury lingers, Priest is also in hot water.

IF I had the first pick in any of my leagues, I'd take Green.

Remember, Preist has only seen an extensive workload since 2001, so he hasn't taken nearly the beating someone like a Marshall Faulk or an Eddie George has. I think Priest has one more #1 season in him.

I just hope most of you are in some of my Yahoo leagues. I would love to grab Priest or LT2 at 4-7.

You could end up being right since in recent past it seems that the top "expected" back has really underperformed and a lesser anticipated back has become the #1 option, but I think you just can't pass up a 27 TD scorer (with most of them being Emmitt-like 1 yarders) with the first pick in a redraft league. LT is still second to me since he's shown he can carry the load and really pile up the stats on a bad team.

I'm really liking Brutally Huge's rankings right now (and not just because he could beat the crap out of me).

I love the way you guys are talking, especially since I have Deuce and Shawn Alexander in my big league. But I think Ahman Green is the clearcut stud this year. He is improving year by year, and I think he'll have the most fantasy points.

It would be interesting to see the all the top RBs listed w/ age. And what the AVG is. For some reason, I'm thinking Ahman is younger than I think he is. He seems older but he can't be more than 27. Portis must be the pup of the bunch. I'm going to go looking for this but my guess is someone beats me to the punch w/ this next post.

Green is 27

The rest I'm guessing on but I think I'm pretty accurate.

Portis-24
Edge-26
Priest-30
LT2-24
SA-26
Duece-25

Just a pure guess.
So they weren't the best...and may have ended the worst. SO WHAT!
