Do you think Fred Russell is a possibility there? He's about the size of Griffin, probably smaller but was an absolute stud at Iowa and busted off an 88 yarder last week, albeit against 2nd teamers.

There has been a fair amount of buzz about him, but granted his sucess has came against 2nd and 3rd string Ds as you said. Morris should garner many more carries than Russell though, and be Minor's main carry thief.
You forget Russell did do it against a second or third string D, but he also did it behind a second or third string line. and if Miami's starting line is as bad as people say then doing anything behind the 3rd strin gline is impressive!!

or it means that the starting line is basically equivalent to the 3rd string line.
News Rookie Fred Russell may have earned himself a better shot at making the Dolphins' roster with his 88-yard scamper at the end of the Fins' preseason opener. Russell finished with 101 yards on nine carries, but he is still fighting for a spot on the team. According to the Sun Sentinel, if Russell makes the roster, it will be on special teams as a kick returner and on the punt team.
Views Some fantasy managers may have been taken by Russell's 100 yard game on Saturday. Don't make the same mistake. His run was a meaningless effort against the 48th-string defense, and unless your league awards points for special teams tackles or kickoff return yardage, you are barking up the wrong tree with Russell.
I watched Travis Minor live all the way through college... If you want to get a sense of his style and talent, go dig up a clip of Warrick Dunn in Tampa... The two could be brothers...
I am not 100% on this but didn't Konrad the Fb spend alot of time injured last year. He might not be a super amazing fullback but he is a good bloker. Just thought that I would through that in. Plus I hope it is minor I think he needs a shoot.

Dunn's pretty quick- That's good to hear-
Hopefully with the FB back in action Minor gets the blocks and holes he needs to pick up some yards. The Dolphins will rely heavily on their defense and hopefully minor can drain the clock-
