Please help me out: I just got Madden, when i realized that i stilldon't know what the IMP stat is. Anyone know?

ok... im not 100% sure about this but i think it stands for importance and has something to do with trade value? someone correct me if im wrong on that...

You are correct, that is what it means. Not sure if it plays into trade value or not but that's the best explination I've heard for it.

IMP is the importance of a player to your team. So if you're going through your season with a RB committee and you trade one of the guys away, the other guy's importance will go up.

hmm so maybe not so much trade value but how likely it is for a team to give up a player. the higher the rating, the less likely they will get rid of them.

Ok, so a guy like Manning or LT2 is probably like a 99 in that area, going with this train of thought.

Yeah that would be my thought also. Those teams have alot invested into those players so they are going to be hard to take away from them.

I always thought it stood for impact. Like the impact a player has on a game.
