I have to say I kinda like the audibles. I agree he over does it, but I like watching QB's come to the line and then make a switch. Then the D makes a switch and then all H-E-double hockey sticks, breaks out. What they should try to work in is a quick count or a snap inbetween sounds that goes on feel by the center and QB. My biggest complaint with running the clock down every play is that the D gets in a rhythm and can anticipate the snap. To me that is the quickest way to get you QB killed (next to having an O line that sucks). I say mix it up and keep the D line on their heels a little.

The problem with the audible I find is, it is to much so the Defense just ignores it and no on buys all the chater coming out of Manning.

An audiable is there if you see a hole in the defense that you wish to expose and if a team calls one(other than the Colts) you usually see the Defense scrambe a little looking for the weakness that is when you catch them for a big play

That's what I'm saying.
That and how much rest he's giving the other team.
I'm not trying to pin the Colt's lack of success on Manning.
Great QB and the best work-ethic in the league.
It just makes no sense to do it every down.
And I've come to believe it's hurting the Colts as a team.
