Springs started out looking like the next-big-thing, then sort of collapsed thru the injury bug and what-not.
Blazing speed, but he's been getting torched by the bigger, taller WRs.
Tuff call. Hard to get a real "feel" for Springs.
In the end, I think it would be the last straw for Holmgren with the FANS if he traded Springs. Don't see it for that reason alone.
PS:
WOULD like to see the Steelers take a chance on him though, if it happens. Great fit.

What?!?! Down wit Da Yellow Backs!!! If Springs should go anywhere, I think it's right back to Ohio and up by the lake so he can stand with the rest of the brownies and laugh at Timm-mmmay and his rusty wheelchair!! hehehe

I think I have a little insight to this guy. I have to say I loved him comming out of college, but wouldn't want him on my team now. He bulked up in the off season last year. I mean a lot. My guess would be that he did it illegally with the juice. I saw him last summer and he was noticibly huge compared to the previous year. I am betting that the injury this year was the result of putting on too much muscle to fast and his body not being able to adjust. Anyway, I would imagine that until he gets back to a more natural weight for his size, he will continue to have inujuries.

My Steelboys need help in the D backfield, but I wouldn't be willing to bet on him. :-t

I heard he was un-happy with his contract but then again what one of these babies is happy with there contract.

I cant see him going anywhere I have a feeling he is just pushing the seahawks for more dough.........which will not happen unless he show he deserves it because of the injuries and what not.

As for the the problem with big WR, Springs did hold Owens to 5 catches and just 45yrds in week 13

if the Seahawks were to trade springs they should get at least an early 1rd draft pick for him!
